Future of Energy Dinner with the First Minister of Scotland

I was privileged to be joined by the First Minister and a range of senior industry executives  as True North hosted a working dinner to discuss the future of energy in Scotland. A fascinating conversation focussed on how we can harness and support the existing critical mass of skills and expertise, owing to a world-class oil and gas industry, and accelerate the commercialisation of new and green energies.

The dinner took place in the margins of the 50th Offshore Europe Conference in Aberdeen at which over 30,000 delegates from around the world attended and True North’s Advisors were on site and busy engaging with clients throughout the week.

It was therefore a particular honour to have Sir Ian Wood, a hugely respected figure in the energy industry and an attendee at the very first Offshore Europe Conference half a century ago, provide the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the  dinner with the First Minister.
