An energy specialist since 2018, Allister supports communications and public affairs activity for firms working across the energy transition, from renewables developers to oil and gas operators and supply chain.
Allister joined True North from his role as editor of the respected industry publication Energy Voice where he broke exclusives ranging from North Sea energy policy to new projects in offshore wind, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
Prior to True North, he spent a decade working in journalism, with bylines in national newspapers and Aberdeen’s Press and Journal, and several years’ experience working in broadcast news.
